Trelew - Argentina - Punta Tombo Penguin Colony


Cute Magallanic  penguin - there are some gravel paths through the colony that cover roughly 1/10th of it, leaving the rest undisturbed. The penguins walked and sat across the paths so we had to be very careful where we were stepping!

Punta Tombo is the largest South American Penguin colony with approx 1 million Magellanic penguins arriving each year.
